The team
Jim Hendry is a geoscientist with over 30 years experience working in the upstream oil and gas industry and in academic research and teaching positions. This uniquely equips him with a wide geological knowledge and business awareness augmented by specific expertise in applied sedimentology, mineralogy and geochemistry. He has led exploration projects and reservoir characterisation / prediction studies and supported field development teams, as well as being a subject matter expert for carbonate geology. He is an Adjunct (honorary) Professor in Earth Sciences at University College Dublin.
Jim's research integrates petrographic, isotopic and geochemical tools to understand fluid-sediment interactions and mineralisation processes. He is also an experienced educator, trainer and mentor, with a record of helping teams collaborate to overcome obstacles and achieve goals. He is an experienced technical writer and editor who communicates effectively to a wide range of stakeholders.
